President - Leader of the association responsible for over seeing all Association activities and business. Duties include, but are not limited to the running of association meetings, representing the association to outside agencies, voting at the National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald society business meeting, and delegating duties to the Executive board.
First Vice-President – Assist the president in the running the association, Overseeing committees, Standing in for President in his absence and assuming his duties if necessary, as well as any additional duties as assigned by the President.
Second Vice President – Assist the President and First Vice president in the running of the association, standing in for the President in case of his absence and the absence of the First Vice President, oversee committees, and any additional duties as assigned by the President.
Treasurer – Account for all association funds, pay bills, prepare financial reports, prepare taxes, and any additional duties as assigned by the President.
Assistant Treasurer – Assist the Treasurer in his duties and any additional duties as assigned by the President.
Secretary – Keep notes and minutes of all association meetings and draft the association newsletter and any additional duties as assigned by the President.
Sergeant at Arms – Keep order at all association meetings and any additional duties as assigned by the President.
All elected Executive Board members will be expected to conduct the following duties. Attend regular monthly meetings, held the first Thursday of the month, as well as executive board meetings and special meetings called for by the President. Assist in the forming of committees and chairing such committees. Setting up and planning of association sponsored events (Golf tournament, Holiday Cheer raffle, Awards Banquet, Etc.) Assist in membership drives and fundraising activities, and general office assignments. The association needs people who are motivated, dedicated, and energetic to help it grow and prosper. The Board of Directors encourages your participation in these elections. The association needs your participation.
